CFA Family Camp 2010
April 30 - May 2, 2010

Please join us for our 10th anniversary of "Dreams Can Come True" family weekend camp on April 30 - May 2, 2010.  This promises to be an exciting year for the Craniofacial Foundation in celebrating the 10th anniversary of "Dreams Can Come True."

CFA camp was started in 2000 by Ms. Heather Henderson when she was a sophmore at Notre Dame High School and a Senior Girl Scout of the Moccasin Bend Girl Scout Council.  Heather set out to receive her Girl Scout Gold Award which is the highest honor in Girl Scouts.  One must demonstrate leadership and organization to the community in order to receive this award.  Heather's project was to sponsor a weekend camp for the Craniofacial Foundation.  Her hope was to provide these children with an experience that they would remember for a long time.  She felt this would give the children and their families a place to be comfortable, no one asking questions, no stares, and a place to feel normal.  And so she did, and the rest is history.  Heather and her family still play a major role in hosting CFA camp every year.  Donna, Heather's mother, is the Camp Director, and her father, Max, is top chef!

The Foundation feels very fortunate to have  this wonderful, caring and talented family as a part of the CFA  for so many years.  We can't thank them enough for all the have given to the CFA families.

Please make plans to participate this year to help celebrate our 10th anniversary with the Henderson Family.  If you would like to sponsor a camper or volunteer for the weekend, please call 423-778-9176 for more information.
